Vini Corva Gialla - 2018 - Àmbar
Grechetto, Vermentino
Lazio, Italy
Corvagialla was founded in 2007 around a small house surrounded by four hectares of land, in an enchanted place overlooking the “Calanchi dell’alta tuscia”. We started with the plantation of 300 olive trees of Frantoio and Leccino varieties. Then vegetable garden, fruit trees, chickens, geese, goats and donkeys, all in company of dogs and cats. The grandfathers winery between Rhine and Moselle was our inspiration when first planting the vineyard in 2010. The wine is bottled locally in our cellar. We don’t use any filtration system, instead we wait for a static decantation after fermentation. Therefore it is possible for natural sediments to form in the bottle. The grapes are fermented separately, and then each age for 12 months in used oak barrels before blending. (Vini Corva Gialla)
